As part of the division’s celebration to mark the anniversary of the creation of the REME Corps, and to gain a further understanding of Pearson Engineering’s capabilities and Front-End equipment (FEE), the group visited the historic site at Armstrong Works.
The Royal Lancers are set to take delivery of the new AJAX vehicle in Q4 2024. Pearson Engineering has contributed to the AJAX programme, manufacturing Armour Packs and providing FEE.
The visit provided Pearson Engineering with the opportunity to build relationships with the REME engineers who will be working on our FEE in the field. The group also received a factory tour to highlight the scale of manufacturing and engineering capability at Armstrong Works to support the British Army programmes.
